How to Make Organic Wellness Tea — Hot or Iced
Our Organic Wellness Tea blends rosehip shells, licorice root, hibiscus and rose petals into a ruby-red herbal infusion — tart, gently sweet, and naturally caffeine-free. It's just as good on a slow morning poured hot as it is chilled over ice on a warm afternoon. Here's how to brew it both ways.
What You'll Need
- Loose leaf herbal tea — we use our Organic Wellness Tea, a blend of rosehip shells, licorice root, hibiscus and rose petals
- Freshly boiled water and a teapot or infuser
- Honey, to sweeten (optional)
- For serving iced: an ice cube tray, fresh mint and a slice of lemon
Two Ways to Brew It
The Comforting Hot Tea
3–5 minutesA soothing cup any time of day:
- Add 1 heaped teaspoon of Wellness tea to your teapot or infuser.
- Pour over 250–300ml of freshly boiled water.
- Infuse for 3–5 minutes — the longer it steeps, the deeper the ruby colour and the tartness from the hibiscus and rosehip.
- Strain and enjoy as is, or sweeten with honey to taste.
The Refreshing Iced Tea
brew, then chill a couple of hoursMake the tea as you would normally, then let it cool right down:
- Brew as above — 1 heaped teaspoon per 250–300ml of boiling water, infused for 3–5 minutes.
- Strain and let the tea come to room temperature.
- Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.
- Enjoy straight from the fridge as is, or pour over ice with a sprig of mint and a slice of lemon.
